Subject: Results and fax messages.

Dear Ms Wilson

I was sorry that you did not feel well enough to speak to me today. I shall phone you on Wednesday, I shall probably try after lunch. I will need to discuss your results, which are abnormal.

They do confirm badly controlled diabetes, which will explain many of your symptoms. They also show that your haemoglobin is high. Do you take iron supplements? I'd appreciate it if you could let me know.

A list of repeat medications, including doses would be very helpful. Which pharmacy delivers to you? If you let me know these details then I shall try to get this out on Wednesday.

I am happy to hear that you are willing to go to hospital as clearly your condition needs the facilities of a hospital to clarify your complicated condition. I am particularly concerned about the diabetes but obviously the possibility of abdominal tumour needs urgent clarification.

I am sorry that you had problems with your mental health worker. Clearly you will need support in enabling you to get out of the building. I can try to get some help for you in this regard but I don't know which team member would be involved at this stage. If you agree I shall approach the North Sector MH team to get them to offer support.
